• Is my club eligible to join the CJTA League?
  To be eligible clubs must be located within a 15 mile radius of Chelmsford Shire Hall.

• When and where are League matches played?
  The matches are played at a mutually agreed time, date and venue during the Summer.

• How many players in a club team?
  Teams comprise of two pairs who play both opposing pairs.

• How much does it cost to enter a team?
  There is a small entrance fee per team.

• How many matches are played and how many sets in each match?
  Each of the two matches is two sets.

• How long do the matches take?
  The matches take about two and a half hours. .

• How many clubs does our team play during the season?
  Each team plays 5 or 6 other clubs during the season.

• Can our club enter more than one team?
  Clubs that enter 2 or more teams in the same age/sex group must not move players from team to team.

• If there are a large number of teams in the league are they split into groups?
  Depending on the number of teams entered there may be two divisions in an age group. If this occurs a finals day is organised and finals are played between the league winners.

• Are there trophies?
  The overall winner is then presented with a trophy.

• My Daughter was 15 in March which age group should she play in?
  Ages to be taken on 1 January of the current season.
