Every Summer an individual tournament and plate event is held for all age groups ending in an exciting finals day the venue for which changes each year.

2008 Spring Doubles Competition - No Competition

2008 Individual Championship

** Entry is only open to members of clubs in the League and members of clubs whose courts are within 15 miles of Chelmsford **

• Entry forms and rules are available from all clubs participating in the league and from Mark Gray
• All Entries must be received, together with entry fees and self addressed stamped envelope by Tournament Referees by 1st May 2008
• Entry is open to all members of clubs in the League as well as to all members of clubs whose courts are within 15 miles of Chelmsford
• This is a "postal tournament" and players will be advised of match details by e-mail/post
• Under 10's play a Round Robin stage at David Lloyd, Basildon on Sunday 6th July 2008
• Please note that all Under 10 matches are required by the LTA to be played using low compression Green Balls
• Events:
  • Girls Singles - U18, U15, U13 and U10
  • Boys Singles - U18, U15, U13 and U10
  • Girls Doubles - U18 and U14
  • Boys Doubles - U18 and U14
  • Mixed Doubles - U18 and U14
• Players may enter maximum of 4 events (2 singles, 2 doubles)
• Entry fees:
  • 1st singles event - £5
  • 2nd singles event - free
  • 1st doubles event - £3 per player
  • 2nd doubles event - free
• Challenge Cups to all singles winners
• Trophies to all winners and runners-up
• LTA Rating points to be won
• Automatic (free) entry into "Plate event" for all early round losers
